According to Oxford's dictionary, a feminist is an advocate of women's rights on the basis of the equality of sexes.  Feminism generally, is a movement set to achieve full gender equality in law and in practice. Clearly, the role of a feminist is to promote gender equality. Since the beginning of feminism, there has always been an uproar especially among the males maybe because they don't believe in equality. Or maybe because they think they women can't be equal with men. It's totally agreeable because no matter how hard we all try, there can't be total equality between males and females. Let's not talk about the equality but bring to the light the fact that the real meaning of feminism has been forgotten.
