FEMINIST CRITICISM

According to Oxford's dictionary, a feminist is an advocate of women's rights on the basis of the equality of sexes. 

Feminism generally, is a movement set to achieve full gender equality in law and in practice. Clearly, the role of a feminist is to promote gender equality. Since the beginning of feminism, there has always been an uproar especially among the males maybe because they don't believe in equality. Or maybe because they think they women can't be equal with men. It's totally agreeable because no matter how hard we all try, there can't be total equality between males and females. Let's not talk about the equality but bring to the light the fact that the real meaning of feminism has been forgotten. In the past, and even up until this day, in some places, there were things women were prohibited from doing. That was where the need for a feminist arose. It was to bring to the knowledge of people that women doing all these things weren't a problem and could infact be beneficial. But in our modern day society, the word ‘feminism’ has been turned upside down. Present day feminists go about even supporting the wrong that women do. Or let's say they aren't even feminists. There are millions of people out there claiming to be feminists with a different agenda. The problem with our modern day feminists is that they have turned, bent and twisted the rules. Fight for the rights of women and not their wrongs.  

 In today's society, feminists are criticized simply because most women have capitalized on the fact that some so-called feminists see what they do wrong as their right. Modern day so-called feminists would go as far as making women believe they shouldn't play their roles as women as it is seen as oppression, thereby shaping a whole lot of women into what they aren't supposed to be. Think it through. Alot of men are against the real agenda of feminism. Let's not make it worse with the so-called feminists.
